Ruddington’s third annual “Summer Fayre” is to be held on The Green on Saturday the 21st of July, and promises to be even bigger and better than last year’s.
After the success of the first two events it’s again been organised for the village by the Events Team at Ruddington Parish Council – and will take place between midday and 6pm.
Confirmed attractions so far include a Punch and Judy Show, David Cox’s amusements, Beatfeet drumming workshops and local DJ Andy Hallam spinning the discs. There will be stalls selling arts and crafts, food vendors and local charities. Ruddington Museum will be on The Green – and you’ll also get chance to speak to our Borough Councillors.
A local dance group and a singer are already booked but organisers are looking for more entertainers to come forward. In fact, there’s to be a ‘Ruddington’s Got Talent’ spot inviting local groups/individuals to take part and showcase their abilities – whatever those might be?!
If you’d like to take part in this talent show, the email is office@ruddingtonparishcouncil.gov.uk, you can ‘phone 0115 914 6660 or just pop into the Parish Council office. Check out our RUDDINGTON.info Events Calendar nearer the time for the finalised details and full running order of the day.
Meantime put the date in your diary for a #RuddyGoodDayOut! Ruddington’s Navy 3 or Green 10 buses run by Nottingham City Transport can be caught directly to The Green.
Please do support this great, village event organised by Ruddington Parish Council!
